What “screened” means here
Documented checks before a company can receive a lead
Our screening covers business identity, project and service-area fit, applicable North Carolina licensing, insurance evidence, reputation signals and an agreement to use lead information responsibly.
North Carolina currently requires a general-contractor license when a contract is valued at $40,000 or more. For lower-value work, absence of that state license does not automatically mean the company is operating unlawfully. We evaluate licensing based on the project and work involved. Screening is not a guarantee
A review cannot guarantee workmanship, price, schedule, safety or outcome. Before hiring, homeowners should independently verify current credentials, review a written scope, ask who will perform the work and understand payment terms.
